Tell us about the Kansas City South Rotary Club.

We are neighbors, community leaders, and global citizens uniting for the common good. Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian service and to advance goodwill and peace around the world. It is a non-political and non-religious organization open to all.

Service above self is our motto and way of life.

What are some of the KC South Rotary successes or achievements that you are most proud of?

Building and operating a hospital in the Dominican Republic, providing shoes to orphans, raking yards for the elderly in the fall, many charity events throughout the year. Working to help eradicating Polio in the world.

What is an interesting fact about the KC South Rotary that people might not know?

We are a professional club of men and women working together to provide service above self.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

We meet every Wednesday at noon at RC’s in Martin City.  Or, we also meet at 5:30pm on the last Wednesday of the month for a cocktail event.  We invite you to come see what we are about.
