The South KC Chamber is pleased to welcome two new board members to our Board of Directors!
New Board members include:
Brian Stone, Edward Jones Investments
Brian Stone has lived in the KC metro area his entire life. He was a graduate of Ruskin High School in 1997. Starting at the age of 16, Brian chased his passion of racing motocross professionally for 10 years. In 2005, his mind and body had said enough and it was time to switch career paths. Brian started his career in the financial industry as a residential loan officer. He then spent the next 10+ years working at and managing local offices of the finance company CitiFinancial. In 2017, he transitioned to Edward Jones working as a financial advisor. His office recently moved from Grandview to South Kansas City in November of 2020. Brian is a current member and past President of the Kansas City South Rotary Club. He has also been involved with the Junior Achievement and PrepKC organizations.
Brian and his wife Janda have been married for 15 years and have two boys and two labs. He enjoys watching his boys participate in sports and teeing it up on a nice day.
Sandy Kessinger, Bank of Blue Valley
Sandy Kessinger moved to the KC metro area in 1995, making her home in the Southland. Sandy and her husband, Don, have three children and four grandchildren.
Sandy is a graduate of UMKC, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance. She has worked as a commercial banker at Bank of Blue Valley since 2015. Sandy served six years on the Grandview Board of Aldermen, finishing her last term in 2020. She currently serves as President of the Grandview Education Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys walking with her dog, Molly, and reading.

The South KC Chamber’s Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from the medical, business, academic and volunteer communities of the South Kansas City Area. It is the Board’s responsibility to provide counsel and guidance in the direction and operation of the Chamber as well as it is to raise awareness of the Chamber’s services to the surrounding communities.
