The Well Bar Grill & Rooftop offers two floors of food, drinks and fun with an indoor dining room that mixes upscale vibes with the casual atmosphere of a neighborhood bar, a lower level patio, and best of all: a spacious and vibrant rooftop terrace. Very open-air during the warmer months, but also available in winter thanks to a 360° clear span heated tent and fire pits. We offer Dine-in, Curbside/TO-GO & Delivery.

What is an interesting fact about The Well that people might not know?
We brought the Budweiser Clydesdales to South Kansas City’s Waldo area. We have a US trademark for “Das Boot” in a restaurant. We were the single largest employer in Waldo/ Brookside with 165 employees pre Covid.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
My brother and business partner’s father was Robert “Bob” Lewellen who was a 6th District At Large City Councilman and President of the Parks and Rec Board. His memorabilia is on display in Lew’s, Hooper’s and The Well.
