Reservations are required for all South KC Chamber events where a cost is associated with the event. If an attendee with a reservation does not come to the event and did not cancel the reservation at least 48 hours prior to the event, the attendee will be billed the amount of the event plus a $2.00 invoicing fee. Another person may attend in place of the person who cannot attend.
Invoicing Fee Policy
The South KC Chamber will add a $2 invoicing fee to invoices following any event where the attendee asks to be billed or does not cancel their reservation a minimum of 48 hours prior to the event. This covers the costs of staff time and supplies needed to create and send out the invoice.
This policy does not apply for sponsorship invoices or contributions being made to the South KC Chamber organization.
Weather Policy
Cancelation decisions are made in consultation with weather professionals based on the specific forecast at the time of the event. In case of inclement weather, we may delay the event to allow the weather to pass, reschedule the event, or cancel the event altogether if it’s not feasible at another time. If an event is canceled and you have already paid, a refund or a credit for another event will be offered.
