We have invested in providing Echo Dots for all our residents throughout our continuum to improve communication efforts throughout the community. Residents will now be able to access daily community announcements, activities, dining specials, sign-ups for scheduled outings, reach staff for assistance and much more. Kingswood iN2L state of the art technology that allows residents to safely experience activities that spark memories of a life well lived. Some days you may find us taking bike rides through the forest or watching live webcams from Zoos around the United States or using a travel log to visit cities and museums from around the world. What are some of Kingswood’s successes or achievements that you are most proud of?

Kingswood’s ability to continue to keep residents and staff safe and happy through the pandemic. Our recent $35 million dollar expansion and renovation which included new Independent Living Villas, Assisted Living and Memory Support along with more dining options, movie theatre, new Rehab & Therapy Space and more.

What is an interesting fact about Kingswood that people might not know?

Kingswood’s Health and Wellness Center is dual certified for Medicare and Medicaid. We are a faith-based, non-profit community founded by the United Methodist Church serving seniors and their families in the Kansas City ares for more than 35 years. We are overseen by a local Board of Directors which includes Kingswood residents and local professionals, and is managed by the Senior Living Industry Leader, Life Care Services LLC.
