If you’ve ever hit the pause button on your education, it’s probably fairly easy to remember why you stopped. Whether family responsibilities, work or other personal or financial commitments needed to take priority, sometimes life takes us on a detour.
Whatever your reason, the bigger question to ask yourself is: Why did I start? Maybe you wanted to pursue a more advanced role in your career field. You might have hoped to create a better future for your children. Or perhaps you were ready to become the first member of your family to graduate college.
Those dreams are still possible – and we can help.
At DeVry, we offer an array of resources and support for students like you who are looking to go back to school and finish your degree. From our Future-Ready Transfer Scholarship to transcript evaluations, let’s take a look at how we can help you get back on track toward your goals.
Future-Ready Transfer Scholarship
Restarting your degree can be more affordable than you might think. Our Future-Ready Transfer Scholarship* is a transfer scholarship designed to help you pay for your education with:
Up to a $3,584 lifetime award for students who transfer into an associate degree program.
Up to a $7,168 lifetime award for students who transfer into a bachelor’s degree program.
The Future-Ready Transfer Scholarship is based on your qualifying transfer credits. Your Student Support Advisor will work with you directly to evaluate your previous credits and determine how much you might qualify for.
*Student loans, grants and scholarships are available to those who apply and qualify. View eligibility details at https://www.devry.edu/tuition-financial-aid/financial-aid/scholarships-grants.html.
Transfer Credits
You put time and dedication into every course you take – and you deserve credit for that. Applying qualifying transfer credits toward your degree program saves you both time and money by reducing the number of courses you need to complete in order to earn your degree.
We can evaluate your previous transcripts and help you understand how many qualifying transfer credits you have. You may also be eligible to earn credit for prior learning gained outside of the classroom, as well as previous work or military experience. You just might be surprised by how much you’ve already accomplished!
Stackable Programs
Tackling your education in smaller increments can help make it more manageable. At DeVry, we offer several stackable degree programs. If you enroll in a program that is stackable, it means you can begin with an associate degree and stack your qualifying credits into a related bachelor’s degree program when you’re ready to continue your education – without missing a beat.
