What are some of Southeast Enterprises’ successes or achievements that you are most proud of?
Southeast associates proudly partnering with Thermo Fisher Scientific on the Patriot Project to combat Covid-19 one test kit at a time. We got the call because millions of vials for test kits need to be quality checked and packed up to ship out domestically and globally from Thermo Fisher’s new supply facility in Lenexa. Lee, the floor supervisor reported, “your team is doing exceptionally well! They do NOT accept bad product and I love that about them.” Southeast associates take pride in their work, are productive, and have great fun doing it.
What is an interesting fact about Southeast Enterprises that people might not know?
Southeast Enterprises was incorporated as a Missouri not-for-profit corporation by concerned parents and area businesspersons in November 1975. The purpose was to establish an Extended Employment Sheltered Workshop Program to provide productive employment and necessary support services to Jackson County adults with developmental, physical, and emotional disabilities who are unable to engage in competitive employment so that they may enhance their work skills and earning potential.

Southeast Enterprises follows ISO standards and can provide sub-assembly, assembly, packaging, packing, inserting, folding, collating, shrink wrapping and many other services.
