Vision

For 95 years, the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce has been an integral part of South Kansas City as it has grown from its rural roots to a diverse and dynamic community. The vision for the South KC Chamber, when it celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2031, is to be a financially strong organization that is viewed as a hub for making connections and building relationships that make a difference in our community.

Mission

The mission of the South Kansas City Chamber of Commerce is to help people and organizations make connections and build relationships that have an impact on making South KC a great place to live, work, learn, and play.

Our Structure

The South KC Chamber is a non-profit (501c6) organization that employs a staff of two (one full time and one part time) and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. In addition to being a hub of connectivity for local businesses, the chamber manages two rentable meeting spaces, hosts a community Block Party each fall, and recognizes and celebrates businesses and organizations through its annual Impact Awards.
