Reservations are required for all South KC Chamber events that have a cost. If an attendee with a reservation does not attend the event and has not canceled the reservation at least 48 hours prior to the event, the attendee will be billed the event amount plus a $2.00 invoicing fee. Another person may attend in place of the person who cannot attend.
Invoicing Fee Policy
The South KC Chamber will add a $2 invoicing fee to invoices following any event in which the attendee requests to be billed or does not cancel their reservation at least 48 hours prior to the event. This covers the costs of staff time and supplies needed to create and send out the invoice.
This policy does not apply to sponsorship invoices or contributions being made to the South KC Chamber organization.
Weather Policy
Cancellation decisions are made in consultation with weather professionals based on the specific forecast at the time of the event. In case of inclement weather, we may delay the event to allow the weather to pass, reschedule it, or cancel it altogether if rescheduling’s not feasible. If an event is canceled and you have already paid, you will receive a refund or a credit toward another event.
