MAZUMA CREDIT UNION
Mazuma Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative serving Kansas City since 1948. Sixty-two years ago, the Credit Union opened its doors as the Kansas City National Federal of Federal Employees Credit Union, a depository for Kansas City Federal employees. Since then, Mazuma has become the second largest credit union in the area and has expanded membership to include most of the Kansas City area. In 1998, the credit union changed its name to the more familiar Mazuma Credit Union.
Mazuma has a network of 10 Kansas City-area branch locations located from Raymore to Gladstone. Mazuma Members also have access to a network of 4,000+ service centers and 28,000+ surcharge-free ATMs worldwide.
Mazuma offers a wide array of financial products and services including checking, savings and loan products. Access to accounts is virtually limitless with online banking, mobile banking and text banking services.
Mazuma Credit Union Advantages:
Not-for-profit:
Mazuma provides the same products and services as banksundefinedbut as a not-for-profit institution. We exist solely to help our Members, not to make a profit for shareholders like banks. So, our earnings are returned to our Members in the form of higher-interest savings, competitive loan rates and new services such as mobile banking.
Here to serve Members:
Mazuma, as with all credit unions, lives by the philosophy of "People Helping People.” We’re committed to helping the Kansas City community by offering financial services to the underserved community, engaging youth in financial education, and by returning profits to Members.
Member-Owned and Operated:
Mazuma is a Member-owned institution. That means our Members are also owners. As such, Members have a say in how Mazuma is managed. A volunteer board of directors, elected by the Members, governs Mazuma.

UNION BANK
Union Bank is a full service, locally owned community bank. Union Bank's history is the story of how 14 entrepreneurial men from various business backgrounds came together to build a community bank based on unsurpassed customer service. The current Union Bank had its beginning in 1965 as Bannister Bank - in a double-wide trailer prior to completion of the original bank building. Three of the bank's founders remain on the Board of Directors today: George R. Raupp, Virgil L. Thorp and Don E. Williams. Raymond E. Glasnapp served as Chairman of the Board until his passing in February 2002; his wife, Erma Lee Glasnapp, joined the Board in March 2002.
The collective vision of the bank's founders for a community bank built on customer service - a philosophy that was not embraced by banks at the time - was the cornerstone of Union Bank and continues to be an integral part of the Bank's culture.
The Bank has grown substantially since its "trailer days," particularly since it acquired the original Union Bank in 2001. Today, there are 11 Union Bank branches throughout the Missouri side of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
Products and Services
Union Bank offers a wide variety of banking products and services that meet its customers' lifetime financial needs. The bank's consumer and commercial banking services include checking, savings, online banking and bill pay, consumer loans, merchant services, cash management services and commercial loans - including real estate, C&I and small business loans.
